I've looked at life from both sides now…

This dual portrait was illustrated in celebration of Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile- two of my absolute heros, and in memory of my mom, who would’ve loved their performance at the Newport Folk Fest of one of the most perfect songs of all time. “Both Sides Now” was always a favorite of my mom’s, so I sat by her this time last year and played her this song one more time. This song/these women/this timing means more to me than I’ll ever had words to express. Thank you Brandi and Joni for everything.
